Carlos is a fifth generation coffee producer in the Cosautlan, Veracruz region. His great-great-grandfather began coffee production in the 1890s, and was processing coffee cherries with wooden tanks. Carlos has been participating in the Cup of Excellence since 2012 and placed third in the 2023 and 2024 auctions.
